Pedestrian Accidents in Ohio
Pedestrian accidents, particularly in school zones, are a serious safety concern across Ohio. Incidents like the one on Harmon Road highlight the importance of adhering to school zone regulations, including reduced speed limits and operational crossing signals.
Children are especially vulnerable in these situations, as their smaller size makes them harder to see, and their unpredictability can catch drivers off guard. Crosswalks near schools should always be treated with extra caution, especially during peak drop-off and pick-up times.
Injuries from pedestrian accidents often result in long-term physical and emotional recovery processes for victims and their families. Beyond immediate medical care, it is important to explore legal options to cover medical expenses, lost time from school, and other damages.
