Phoenix, AZ (February 27, 2025) – A woman lost her life Wednesday evening after being struck by a vehicle in a hit-and-run crash near 34th Avenue and Maricopa Street, according to Phoenix police.
The crash occurred around 6 p.m. when the woman was hit by a westbound vehicle on Maricopa Street. Officers arrived at the scene to find her suffering from severe injuries. She was transported to a nearby hospital, where she later died from her injuries.
