Hit-and-Run Accidents in Arizona
Hit-and-run accidents are a devastating and growing problem in Arizona, often leaving victims without immediate medical assistance and making investigations more challenging. Pedestrian crashes, like the one on Peoria Ave, frequently result in severe or fatal injuries due to the vulnerability of those on foot.
In many cases, hit-and-run drivers leave the scene out of fear of legal consequences, but Arizona law imposes severe penalties for fleeing a crash, especially when injuries or fatalities are involved. Victims and their families may struggle with medical expenses, funeral costs, and emotional trauma in the aftermath of these incidents.
While law enforcement continues its investigation, victims’ families may also have legal options to seek justice and compensation through uninsured motorist coverage or other avenues. A thorough investigation can help identify the responsible driver and ensure accountability.
