Phoenix, AZ (September 22, 2024) – A tragic high-speed crash occurred early Sunday morning on the eastbound lanes of Interstate 10, resulting in the death of a motorcyclist. The incident took place around 1:30 a.m. near 39th Avenue.
According to the Department of Public Safety, the driver of a vehicle was reportedly speeding at 140 miles per hour when they collided with the motorcyclist. Following the crash, the driver continued for approximately one mile before their vehicle caught fire.
