According to the Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT), drivers fleeing the scene of a crash may face severe legal consequences, including felony charges. Additionally, safety measures like well-lit roads, pedestrian crossings, and public awareness campaigns can help reduce hit-and-run incidents.
