Phoenix, AZ (October 22, 2024) – A tragic accident occurred early Tuesday morning in north Phoenix, resulting in the death of a bicyclist. The incident took place around 6 a.m. at the intersection of N 21st Lane and W Northern Avenue, involving a collision between the bicycle and another vehicle.
Emergency responders were dispatched to the scene following reports of the crash. Unfortunately, a man was confirmed dead as a result of the collision. In response to the incident, authorities closed Northern Avenue in both directions between 21st Lane and 23rd Avenue to conduct their investigation and ensure the safety of the area. The roadway was reopened just before 9:30 a.m., allowing traffic to resume.
