Phelps County, MO (January 31, 2025) – A two-vehicle collision on Highway 63 at County Road 8010 resulted in injuries early Thursday morning. Emergency responders arrived at the scene around 6:57 a.m. to assist those involved.
According to reports, a 2015 Kia Sedona was attempting to make a left turn when a 2004 Kia Optima, traveling northbound, began sliding while trying to stop. The Optima then collided with the Sedona, leading to moderate vehicle damage.
The driver of the Optima, a 51-year-old woman from Rolla, sustained injuries. Paramedics transported her to Phelps Health Hospital for treatment. The driver of the Sedona, a 73-year-old man, was able to remain at the scene, and his vehicle was driven away after the crash.
