Safety Reminders for Driving Near Large Trucks
Accidents involving large vehicles, such as trucks, can often have serious consequences. To reduce the risk of collisions:
- Stay visible: Avoid lingering in a truck’s blind spots, especially on the sides or directly behind.
- Anticipate wide turns: Trucks need extra room to maneuver turns safely.
- Be cautious at intersections: Watch for trucks entering or exiting the roadway and be prepared to yield.
By practicing defensive driving, motorists can help prevent crashes and improve safety for everyone on the road.
