Perry Twp., OH (September 23, 2024) – A tragic accident occurred Saturday morning in Perry Township, resulting in the deaths of two individuals. The crash took place just after 8 a.m. in the 400 block of Georgetown Road, where a Ford Fusion crossed the center line and collided head-on with a Toyota Sienna.
According to reports, the impact of the collision was severe, leading to multiple injuries. Emergency responders arrived promptly at the scene, transporting three individuals by ambulance to local hospitals for medical treatment. Additionally, one person was airlifted by helicopter to receive further care.
Both the driver of the Ford Fusion and the driver of the Toyota Sienna sustained injuries in the crash. Unfortunately, two passengers in the Toyota, identified as 87-year-old Richard Hiner and 89-year-old Joanne Hiner, succumbed to their injuries shortly after arriving at the hospital.
