Truck Accidents in Illinois
Large truck accidents, including crashes involving garbage trucks, often lead to catastrophic outcomes due to the sheer size and weight of these vehicles. Major highways like U.S. Route 45 see a high volume of commercial truck traffic, increasing the risk of serious collisions.
According to the Illinois Department of Transportation, truck-involved accidents account for a significant portion of fatal crashes across the state each year. Many of these collisions occur due to factors such as driver fatigue, failure to yield, mechanical failures, and distracted driving.
Victims of truck accidents and their families often face significant hardships, including medical expenses, funeral costs, lost income, and emotional trauma. Illinois law allows individuals affected by negligence-related crashes to pursue compensation for these losses. Legal guidance can help the victims and their families understand their rights and the steps needed to seek justice.
