Single-Vehicle Accidents in Florida
Single-vehicle crashes, like the one on the Bayou Texar Bridge, can have devastating consequences, often resulting from factors such as excessive speed, distracted driving, or hazardous road conditions. Bridges can be particularly dangerous at night due to reduced visibility and the potential for slick road surfaces.
In accidents involving serious injuries or fatalities, victims and their families may face financial and emotional challenges, including medical expenses, funeral costs, and long-term rehabilitation. Florida law allows injured parties or surviving family members to seek compensation through personal injury or wrongful death claims if negligence played a role in the crash.
