Penn Township, PA (November 21, 2024) – A tragic two-vehicle collision in Perry County claimed two lives Thursday night, according to Pennsylvania State Police. The crash occurred shortly before 9:30 PM in the 1300 block of State Road/Route 11/15 in Penn Township.
Authorities confirmed that the driver of one vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene. A passenger in the second vehicle also succumbed to their injuries. The driver of the second vehicle sustained suspected moderate injuries and was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
The crash caused significant disruptions in the area, with roads remaining closed for nearly seven hours as crews worked to clear the scene and conduct an investigation. The road was reopened around 5:00 AM on Friday morning.
