Pendleton, IN (January 29, 2025) – A tragic pedestrian accident occurred Monday evening east of Pendleton, resulting in the death of a 55-year-old woman.
According to the Madison County Sheriff’s Office, the fatal crash took place in the 5500 block of County Road 100 West. Reports indicate that a 2017 Dodge Caravan was traveling southbound when it struck a pedestrian who was walking in the southbound lane.
The victim, identified as Sherri Everitt, 55, was pronounced deceased at the scene. Authorities have not yet released additional details regarding the circumstances of the accident. The investigation remains ongoing.
