Pemiscot, MO (November 15, 2024) – A serious collision occurred at approximately 1:00 PM at the junction of US 412, Hwy B, and Hwy Z in Pemiscot County, involving a 2002 Lincoln Towncar and a 2014 RAM Truck. The crash unfolded when the driver of the Lincoln Towncar, a 75-year-old male from Kennett, MO, pulled into the path of the westbound RAM truck, driven by a 62-year-old male, also from Kennett, MO.
The impact caused extensive damage to both vehicles, and the Lincoln Towncar was rendered a total loss. Emergency responders from Pemiscot County, including assistance from Trooper J.P. Lewis and Corporal J.B. Doyle, quickly arrived at the scene. The driver of the Lincoln Towncar sustained serious injuries and was transported by air ambulance to Regional One Hospital in Memphis, TN. The driver of the RAM truck was not reported to have sustained injuries.
Both vehicles were towed from the scene, with the Lincoln Towncar being taken by Sullivan’s Towing and the RAM truck by Ace Wrecker. The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
