Pauls Valley, OK – Collision Claims Lives of One Man and One Juvenile on US-77

Pauls Valley, OK (October 5, 2024) – A tragic accident occurred on Friday night, October 4, on US-77, resulting in the deaths of two individuals and injuries to three others. The Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported that the crash took place at approximately 9:50 p.m., less than a mile north of Pauls Valley.

According to the OHP, a car driven by 29-year-old William Miranda of Pauls Valley was traveling south on US-77 when it crossed into the northbound lane and collided with another vehicle driven by 39-year-old Christopher Pierri of Oklahoma City. The impact of the crash was severe.

Emergency responders arrived at the scene, where Pierri was pronounced dead due to his injuries. Miranda was transported to an Oklahoma City hospital in critical condition. Tragically, a 15-year-old passenger in Pierri’s vehicle also died at the scene. Two other passengers, both 14 years old, were taken to an Oklahoma City hospital for treatment of their injuries.

The names of the passengers have not been released at this time, and the investigation into the crash is ongoing.
