Pasco, WA (January 31, 2025) – The Washington State Patrol (WSP) has released more details regarding a fatal crash on Sacajawea Park Road at SR 12 that resulted in the death of one person.
According to authorities, the crash occurred when a semi-truck driver attempted to cross the highway and collided with a vehicle driven by 63-year-old Eric Womack of Pomeroy. Emergency responders arrived at the scene, but Womack was pronounced dead due to the severity of his injuries.
WSP stated that drugs and alcohol were not believed to be factors in the crash, but charges against the semi-truck driver are pending as the investigation continues.
