Pasco County, FL (September 11, 2024) – A tragic accident on Tuesday left a 38-year-old mother dead and her three teenage daughters hospitalized after a collision with a semi-truck on State Rte 52 near Prospect Rd. The crash occurred around 5:24 p.m. when the mother attempted to make a left turn under a flashing yellow signal, placing her vehicle in the path of the semi-truck driven by a 41-year-old man from Port Richey.

The mother succumbed to her injuries at the hospital. Her daughters and the truck driver are being treated for serious injuries.
