Parkland, WA (January 24, 2025) – A 38-year-old man tragically lost his life in a traffic accident on Wednesday evening near 99th St South and Park Ave South. The Pierce County Sheriff’s Department (PCSD) reported the incident, which occurred on January 22, around 5:29 p.m.
According to initial details from PCSD, the accident unfolded after a minor collision, during which the victim was fatally struck. Authorities are investigating the circumstances surrounding the tragedy to determine contributing factors and the exact sequence of events.
Emergency responders were called to the scene, but, sadly, the man succumbed to his injuries. The identities of those involved have not been released as officials continue their investigation.
