Parker County, TX (September 26, 2024) – A structure fire occurred on Kid Lane, prompting a rapid response from local emergency services. At approximately 3:30 p.m. on September 26, the Parker County Emergency Services District 1 received reports of smoke visible from a one-story home in the area.
Upon arrival, Engine 48 quickly assessed the situation and initiated an offensive attack by pulling a line to combat the flames. Engine 51 was assigned to conduct a thorough search of the premises to ensure that no one else was inside the home. Additional support units, including Battalion 101, Tanker 48, and Engine 55, were also dispatched to the scene to assist in firefighting efforts.
Tragically, one victim was located within the structure. In response to the severity of the situation, air medical services were launched to provide immediate care and transport the victim to a nearby hospital. The incident remains under investigation as authorities work to determine the cause of the fire.
