Paris, MO (January 8, 2025) – A serious two-vehicle collision occurred on County Rd 200, approximately one mile west of Paris, at 2:25 PM on Tuesday. Emergency responders from Monroe County, including the Monroe County Sheriff’s Department and Paris Fire Department, quickly arrived at the scene to provide assistance.
The crash involved a 2013 Buick LaCrosse traveling southbound and a 2001 Chevrolet S10 heading northbound. According to officials, the southbound vehicle crossed the centerline, colliding with the northbound truck. The Buick sustained total damage, while the Chevrolet was left with extensive damage. Both vehicles were later removed by family members.
Emergency responders, including Monroe County Ambulance personnel, provided care to those injured in the crash. A 23-year-old female passenger from Madison, MO, who was an occupant in the Buick, suffered injuries. She was transported to Moberly Regional Medical Center for further medical evaluation.
