Paramus, NJ (January 7, 2025) – Three individuals traveling in a school transportation van, including a 16-year-old student, were hospitalized after a collision with another vehicle on Route 17 this morning.
The crash occurred on the southbound side of the highway near Route 4 at approximately 8 a.m. Emergency responders from Paramus, including police and EMS, arrived on the scene to assist the injured. Two Paramus EMS ambulances transported the trio to Hackensack University Medical Center. Fortunately, none of the injuries were considered serious.
The vehicles involved in the collision were removed from the scene by a flatbed tow truck. The school transportation van is owned by Paterson-based Jersey Kids. Authorities are investigating the cause of the accident.
