Palm Harbor, FL (February 22, 2025) – A head-on crash on U.S. 19 at Lake Tarpon Dr left four people injured, including two minors, on February 12, according to the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP).
Authorities reported that the crash occurred at approximately 5:00 p.m. and involved a Toyota RAV4 and a Ford Fusion. The impact caused the Toyota RAV4 to overturn, while the Ford Fusion veered off the roadway and struck a light pole.
The Toyota RAV4 was being driven by a 45-year-old local woman who was heading southbound on U.S. 19 before the crash. The Ford Fusion, driven by a 35-year-old local woman, was traveling northbound at the time of the collision.
Emergency responders arrived quickly at the scene to provide medical care. All four victims—both drivers and two minors in the Ford—sustained minor injuries. Authorities have not released further details regarding the cause of the crash.
