Palisade, CO – 3 Dead in Multi-Vehicle Crash on Hwy 6

Palisade, CO (September 4, 2024) – Three individuals were killed in a tragic accident on westbound Hwy 6. The incident occurred at around 10:40 a.m. when a Jeep Grand Cherokee struck two CDOT employees working on the side of the road, instantly killing both workers.

The driver’s wife, who was a passenger in the vehicle, also lost her life in the crash. The CDOT employees were reportedly fixing a street sign when the accident happened. The only survivor of the crash was the driver, who sustained minor injuries and was taken to the hospital, later being released.
