The incident took place around 5 p.m. at the intersection of South Main Street and East Spring Street, just a few blocks from the university campus.
According to police reports, the crash involved a Jeep Wrangler that was traveling westbound on Spring Street. The driver reportedly made a left turn and struck the pedestrian near a crosswalk. Both the victim and the driver are confirmed to be students at Miami University.
