Orland, ME (October 2, 2024) – A tragic accident occurred on Tuesday morning, October 1 when a 24-year-old flagger was struck and killed by a vehicle while working in a construction zone. The incident took place just before 7 a.m. on Acadia Highway, according to the Hancock County Sheriff’s Office.
Charles Resh was performing traffic control duties in the construction zone, which had been established for paving work, when he was hit by a car driven by a 70-year-old man.
