Failure to Yield Accidents in Missouri
Failure to yield is one of the leading causes of crashes at intersections and along high-speed roadways. According to the Missouri Department of Transportation, failure-to-yield collisions frequently result in injuries, as they often involve side-impact or T-bone crashes, which can be particularly dangerous.
Accidents like the one on US 160 can lead to significant medical expenses, vehicle repair costs, and time away from work due to injuries. Missouri follows an at-fault insurance system, meaning injured parties may be eligible to seek compensation from the at-fault driver’s insurance provider for damages.
If you or a loved one has been injured in a failure-to-yield accident, seeking medical attention and legal guidance is crucial. Consulting with a legal professional ensures you receive fair compensation for medical expenses, lost wages, and other damages.
