Orange County, FL (October 7, 2024) – A tragic incident occurred early Monday morning in Orange County, resulting in the death of a pedestrian. According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the accident took place on West Sand Lake Road near Turkey Lake Road.
Reports indicate that a 67-year-old woman from Orlando was walking across Sand Lake Road when she entered the path of an oncoming 2010 Ford Escape. Emergency responders arrived at the scene, but unfortunately, the woman was pronounced dead at the location of the incident. The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene as authorities conducted their investigation.
