Orange County, FL (December 07, 2024) – A tragic pedestrian accident occurred on Friday night in Pine Hills, Florida, when a man was struck and killed by an SUV while walking across Silver Star Rd. The crash took place around 7:10 p.m. in the eastbound inside lane, just west of N Pine Hills Rd.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP), the pedestrian, a man walking south across Silver Star Rd, entered the path of an eastbound SUV driven by a 54-year-old man from Apopka. The SUV collided with the pedestrian, resulting in fatal injuries. Emergency responders pronounced the man dead at the scene.
