Omaha, NE (October 17, 2024) – A tragic hit-and-run accident occurred on Tuesday night, October 15, near the intersection of Riverfront and Abbott Drives, resulting in the death of a pedestrian. Emergency responders arrived at the scene after receiving reports of an injured individual.
Upon arrival, officers found a man who had been struck while in the right eastbound lane of Abbott Drive. He was immediately transported to the University of Nebraska Medical Center with CPR in progress but was later declared dead at the hospital.
