Omaha, NE (December 4, 2024) – One person is dead following a tragic four-vehicle crash that occurred Tuesday evening in northwest Omaha. The collision took place around 5:40 p.m. near the intersection of Sorensen Parkway and Wenninghoff Road, involving a Honda Pilot, Ford Fiesta, Toyota Camry, and Honda Odyssey.
According to the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office, the Honda Pilot was traveling westbound on Sorensen Parkway when it collided with the Ford Fiesta, which was attempting to turn north onto Wenninghoff Road. The impact of the initial collision caused a chain reaction, with the Camry and Odyssey being struck in the intersection shortly after.
Emergency responders rushed both the driver of the Honda Pilot and the Ford Fiesta to Nebraska Medical Center. Unfortunately, the driver of the Fiesta was pronounced dead upon arrival. The driver of the Toyota Camry was transported to Immanuel Medical Center with serious injuries, while the driver of the Honda Odyssey was uninjured.
