Olympia, WA – Woman Killed in Wrong-Way Crash on Pacific Ave SE

Olympia, WA (September 10, 2024) – Gina Munna, 70, from Georgia, tragically died in a wrong-way crash on Saturday, September 7, on Pacific Ave SE. The incident occurred around 4 p.m. when a 33-year-old Seattle woman. Driving recklessly in the eastbound lanes. Collided head-on with a car turning from Fones Rd.

Munna, a passenger in the car, was transported to Providence St. Peter Hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries. The driver and another passenger were also hospitalized.

The Seattle woman, who had been fleeing authorities, was arrested and faces charges including second-degree murder, vehicular homicide, and felony eluding.

Authorities continue to investigate the circumstances of the crash and will provide updates as more information becomes available.
