The incident was reported at approximately 2:17 p.m., leading to the request for aviation transport for a critically injured patient.
Due to poor visibility and adverse weather conditions, the aviation unit was unable to fly the patient to Baltimore for further medical care. As a result, at 2:25 p.m., it was determined that the patient would be transported by ground to TidalHealth Peninsula Regional for treatment.
