Northlake, IL – Two Teens Injured in Hit-and-Run Crash at Roy Ave & Lyndale Ave

Northlake, IL (September 13, 2024) – Two teenage bicyclists were seriously injured in a hit-and-run crash Wednesday night at the intersection of Roy Ave and Lyndale Ave. The teens were struck by a speeding vehicle that ran a stop sign around 8:20 p.m.

Both teens were taken to Loyola Hospital, with one in critical condition. The other has since been released. Authorities found the white sedan involved in the crash in Elmhurst, but the vehicle’s owner, who is in custody, is not cooperating. The investigation is ongoing.
