Northern Westchester, NY (January 16, 2025) – A bus crash on Route 35 in Northern Westchester on Wednesday afternoon resulted in multiple individuals being transported to a nearby hospital. The incident occurred around 3:45 PM near Cameron’s Deli, as confirmed by local authorities.
According to reports, the bus was traveling eastbound toward Connecticut on Route 35 when it encountered two cars stopped ahead, one of which was attempting to turn left into the deli. To avoid colliding with the stopped vehicles, the bus veered to the right, striking the car in front of it and causing minor damage. It then continued off the roadway and collided head-on with a tree.
All eight passengers on the bus, identified as residents of Ability Beyond, were taken to the hospital as a precaution. Seven ambulances were dispatched to transport the passengers, who reportedly suffered non-life-threatening injuries. No other significant injuries were reported from the vehicles involved.
