North Fort Myers, FL (February 3, 2025) – One person lost their life in a rollover crash involving a coupe and a semi-truck on Saturday along I-75 SB near mile marker 147 in North Fort Myers.
According to local authorities, the collision occurred when the coupe and semi-truck were involved in a severe impact, causing the coupe to overturn. Emergency responders arrived at the scene and worked to provide assistance. Tragically, one individual was pronounced dead due to injuries sustained in the crash.
Traffic was heavily affected as officials closed portions of I-75 SB to conduct an investigation and clear debris from the roadway. The Florida Highway Patrol and Lee County Sheriff’s Office remained on-site to assess the accident scene and determine the circumstances leading to the collision.
The crash remains under investigation. Authorities have not yet released the identity of the deceased or confirmed whether additional individuals were injured.
