Left-Turn Collisions in Missouri

Collisions involving left turns, such as this one on Rt. D, are a common type of crash that often results from misjudgments in timing or failure to yield to oncoming traffic. These accidents can lead to significant injuries and extensive vehicle damage, as seen in this incident.

Emergency responders played a vital role in providing medical assistance to the injured and ensuring that the scene was safely cleared. Investigations into these crashes typically focus on driver behavior, visibility, and road conditions to determine contributing factors and improve safety measures.

Drivers are reminded to exercise caution when making left turns and to yield appropriately to oncoming traffic to reduce the risk of collisions.
