New York, NY (September 1, 2024) – A man suffered serious injuries on Saturday, August 31, after being hit and dragged by a truck, followed by a yellow taxi near Central Park. The incident occurred around 6 a.m. on Central Park S, close to 6th Ave. 

Witnesses reported that the man, believed to be homeless, was crossing the street when the truck struck him. The truck dragged him several feet before a taxi hit him while he lay on the ground. 

The crashes occurred near the Plaza Hotel. Authorities are investigating the circumstances of the incident and are expected to provide updates as more information becomes available.
