Accidents Involving Entrapment in Delaware
Crashes that involve entrapment, such as the one on Kirkwood Highway, can be particularly dangerous, especially when children are involved. Victims who remain trapped inside vehicles for extended periods are at greater risk of serious injuries due to the impact forces and delayed medical intervention.
According to the Delaware Office of Highway Safety (OHS), crashes resulting in entrapment often occur at high speeds or involve multiple vehicles. Firefighters and emergency responders must use specialized rescue techniques to safely remove victims from the wreckage, which can prolong response times and increase injury risks.
For victims and their families, seeking legal guidance can help them understand their rights and explore options for medical coverage, rehabilitation, and financial recovery.
