Neshannock Twp., PA (January 8, 2025) – Pennsylvania State Police have released details about a tragic crash that occurred on Tuesday, shutting down I-376 in Lawrence County for several hours. The incident involved multiple vehicles and claimed the life of one individual.
According to the crash report, a Toyota Tacoma driven by a 26-year-old woman from Youngstown, Ohio, was traveling eastbound near mile marker 8.9 when the driver lost control. The vehicle went through the median, struck a guardrail, and collided with a westbound Ford Transit van. The driver of the Ford Transit, Neil Plumber, 41, of Greenville, tragically died at the scene.
The driver of the Toyota Tacoma sustained serious injuries and was flown to a hospital for treatment. The crash remains under investigation as authorities work to determine the contributing factors.
