Nassau County, FL (September 7, 2024) – A Georgia man tragically died following a collision with a tractor-trailer Friday night, September 6 in Nassau County. The incident occurred around 11:46 p.m. on I-95, near mile marker 381. The victim, driving a sedan, was heading north and struck the back of the slower-moving tractor-trailer ahead.

Florida Highway Patrol reports the 35-year-old man was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash. Nassau County Fire Rescue pronounced the victim dead at the scene. The driver of the tractor-trailer escaped the crash without injuries.
