Mountain, WI – Head-On SUV Crash on Hwy 32 Results in One Fatality

Mountain, WI (September 9, 2024) – A fatal accident claimed the life of a 51-year-old woman on Sunday, September 8. Two SUVs collided head-on on Hwy 32 near Sparky’s Ln around 5:30 p.m. in Oconto County. Emergency crews found a passenger trapped in one of the vehicles.

A northbound SUV, containing three Tomahawk residents, was hit by a southbound SUV that veered into their lane. The southbound driver, a 30-year-old Fond du Lac man, was hospitalized following the crash. The other two passengers were also treated in local hospitals. The 51-year-old woman was pronounced dead at the scene. 

Authorities are actively investigating the crash and expect to provide further details as they become available.
