Monticello, IA (March 8, 2025) – A crash early Monday morning in Jones County left three people injured after a vehicle lost control due to poor weather and road conditions.
According to the Iowa State Patrol, the accident occurred around 7:15 a.m. in the area of IA 38 and River Rd, north of Monticello. Officials reported that the driver of a Chrysler Sebring lost control and slid into the southbound lane, where the vehicle collided with another car.
Emergency responders were quick to the scene, providing care to the three injured individuals before transporting them to the hospital. At this time, no updates have been released regarding their conditions.
