Montgomery County, MD (November 14, 2024) – Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services (MCFRS) responded to a collision involving a sedan and a Montgomery County Public Schools (MCPS) bus at the intersection of Bondy Lane and Darnestown Road on Thursday morning. The accident occurred around 7:15 a.m.
The adult driver of the sedan sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to a nearby trauma center for treatment. Ten students on the school bus were evaluated by emergency responders and were found to be uninjured. The students were released from the scene without requiring further medical care.
The cause of the collision is under investigation by local authorities.
