Montgomery County, MD (January 7, 2025) – A 9-year-old child and two teenagers were struck by a car and injured in a hit-and-run crash on Monday evening. The incident occurred around 5:00 PM in the 1700 block of Mt. Pisgah Lane.
According to Montgomery County Police, a driver hit the three pedestrians and fled the scene. A witness to the crash followed the fleeing vehicle to the 11000 block of New Hampshire Avenue, where officers located and arrested the driver.
The victims, two teenagers, and a child, were transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Police continue to investigate the circumstances leading to the crash.
