Montgomery, AL (February 1, 2025) – A 31-year-old man was killed in a pedestrian hit-and-run crash Wednesday evening at the intersection of Eastern Boulevard and Vaughn Road, according to the Montgomery Police Department (MPD).
Authorities responded to the scene at 7:30 p.m., where they found the victim, Arkeem Bernard Sellers of Montgomery, suffering from life-threatening injuries. Emergency crews transported him to a local hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
The driver responsible for the crash fled the scene, and investigators are now working to locate the suspect. As of now, no additional details have been released.
