Monterey, CA (November 10, 2024) – A fatal accident occurred at the intersection of West Blanco Road and Research Drive, involving a gray Infiniti, a white truck, and a utility pole. The collision was reported at approximately 10:11 a.m. in the Monterey area.
According to the California Highway Patrol (CHP), the driver of the Infiniti was ejected from the vehicle and was pronounced deceased at the scene. The white truck collided with the utility pole, where a construction worker was reportedly on top of the pole at the time of the crash. Emergency responders transported the worker to Natividad Medical Center for treatment of their injuries.
