Monsey, NY (September 10, 2024) – A 2-year-old girl tragically died after being struck by a vehicle near 38 Calvert Dr on Monday afternoon. The incident occurred just after 3 p.m. when a Honda Odyssey, driven by a 21-year-old Monsey resident, hit the child.

The toddler sustained life-threatening injuries and was transported to Nyack Hospital, where she later died. The driver, who was not injured, stayed at the scene and is cooperating with authorities.

Ramapo Police confirmed no criminal charges have been filed at this time.
