Mississippi Co., MO (September 13, 2024) – A fatal crash occurred on Interstate 57 northbound at the 2-mile marker at 11:15 AM today. Willie E. Miller, 76, died at the scene when his 2013 Toyota Venza was struck from behind by a 2024 Freightliner. Miller’s vehicle then crossed the median and hit a southbound boom truck.

Hali A. Goro, 38, in the Freightliner, sustained injuries and was transported to St. Francis Medical Center. The crash is under investigation by local authorities, who will provide further updates as more information becomes available.
