Midland, TX (January 13, 2025) – A serious crash early this morning on Interstate 20 near Terrell St left one individual hospitalized with life-threatening injuries. The Midland Police Department (MPD) reported that the collision involved a 2023 Ford F-250 and a 2011 Cadillac SRX.
According to MPD, the Ford F-250 was traveling westbound in the eastbound lane of the 600 block of East Interstate 20 when it collided head-on with the Cadillac, which was traveling east in the same lane. Emergency responders arrived promptly at the scene. The driver of the Cadillac was transported to Midland Memorial Hospital with serious bodily injuries. Authorities have not yet identified the driver of the Cadillac.
The driver of the Ford F-250 sustained injuries but was treated at the scene and did not require hospitalization. MPD continues to investigate the circumstances of the crash, including why the Ford F-250 was traveling against traffic.
