Miami-Dade County, FL (November 11, 2024) – A boating accident on Saturday led to the tragic death of 21-year-old Eytan Genoune of Boynton Beach. The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) reported that the crash occurred when a 34′ Nor-Tech vessel, traveling south, made a sudden turn, ejecting all three occupants into the water.
Good Samaritans in the area were able to recover the boat operator and one other passenger, who were subsequently transported to a local hospital for treatment of their injuries. Sadly, Genoune was recovered from the water deceased.
FWC continues to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash, including what may have caused the vessel’s abrupt turn. No further information about the condition of the other two individuals has been released at this time.
